The Nicola Valley Food Bank has been able to keep up providing services to our clients through this difficult time of Covid-19. We are facing a holiday season like no other.
It takes a lot of preparation from volunteers to ensure that everyone who applies for a Christmas Hamper receives one. We ask that you return your completed application to the foodbank prior to November 12, 2020. For those of you with children and would like to be matched with a community sponsor, please return your application as soon as possible. As much as we would love to be able to find sponsors for all our families, this may not be possible. Please be assured we are doing our best.
There is a change this year regarding toys. Annual toy drives were cancelled due to Covid-19 throughout 2020. The foodbank will not have the tables full of toys as there has been in past years.
The pickup location and time will be announced early December. We will display a notice in our window and on our Facebook page once details are confirmed.
The process of Christmas hampers will be different from past years. We ask for your patience as we guide our way through to provide you with some of the makings of a nice Christmas holiday season.
